The purchase of products on the OrientaleTendance.com website is governed by the terms and conditions below.
Please familiarise yourself with the aforementioned terms and conditions before validating your purchases.
The general terms and conditions seek to govern the sales methods between our company OrientaleTendance and the client throughout the stages of the process, from placing the order to delivering the products. They determine the rights and obligations of each party.
Therefore, any order placed on the site implies that the buyer will adhere to the general conditions with no exceptions. The company reserves the right to adapt or modify them at any moment. In this case only the sales conditions that are in effect at the time the order is placed will be applicable.
The items that are sold by the company OrientaleTendance are those that feature on the website on the day that the future client browses the site, and are subject to availability of stock.
If a product is completely or partially unavailable after an order has been placed, OrientaleTendance undertakes to inform the client by e-mail as soon as possible.
The price of the items on the site is displayed in euros, all taxes included (ATI), except for delivery or return costs (see article 5, delivery).
The company OrientaleTendance reserves the right to modify its prices at any moment but
undertakes to charge the client using the price that was in effect when the order was placed.
It is mandatory for the client to create a user account so that he/she can be clearly identified by a password and an e-mail address that are strictly personal.
An order consists of a purchase order made to acquire one or several products exclusively offered on the site. The automatic registration system is considered as proof of the nature and content of the order,
By ticking the box "I have read and accepted the conditions of sale" the client affirms that he/she understands and accepts the conditions of sale. .
The sale will be finalised when the payment is validated. Following this step an electronic confirmation message will be sent to the client.
OrientaleTendance reserves the right to cancel any orders placed by a client that involve a dispute regarding payment or other issues. In this case the company reserves the right to block the order until the dispute is resolved.
If there is an error in the recipient's details, OrientaleTendance cannot be held responsible for it not being possible to deliver the product.

The company OrientaleTendance undertakes to deliver all items ordered in a maximum of 30 days. However, the company cannot be held liable in the case of force majeure: wars, riots, fires, strikes, inability to obtain supplies. The goods always travel at the risk of the recipient.
However, in the case of a delay, the company undertakes to inform the client as soon as possible and do everything possible in order to respect its commitments.
The delivery costs are displayed in the shopping basket that has the client's selection in it. Because of availability, an order can arrive in several separate deliveries, however the client will only pay the shipping fees once.
As an importer you may be subject to import duty and therefore may have to pay the taxes that are in effect in your country of origin. We are not responsible for this and do not have any control over these charges.
The company OrientaleTendance uses the following carriers to transport its packages: Chronopost, Colissimo and Mondial Relay. This information will be outlined on the last page before placing the order; for every order a minimum purchase of €23 is necessary.
Payment on the OrientaleTendance site is made using bank cards that bear the CB, MASTERCARD or VISA logo, via the Be2bill platform. This system is extremely secure and allows you to pay for your purchases without providing your financial data.

However, the package will be dispatched following receipt of the cheque and confirmation that it has been cashed.
The amount stated on the cheque must match with the amount that the order comes to.
Payment by bank transfer: You can also settle your purchases by bank transfer. When your transfer is received, the package is dispatched. Please note that you are liable for the bank charges.
The company OrientaleTendance does not accept postal orders or cash on delivery.
7) Liability and guarantee:
This contract is subject to French law and all of the products comply with the legislation in force in France. In the event of a dispute, complaints are always treated with care and benevolence. Good faith is always presumed and the client should contact the company first of all in order to reach an amicable solution.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the commercial court of the domicile of the company OrientaleTendance.
In any case, the company OrientalTendance cannot be held responsible for not complying with the rules or legislation in force in the country of receipt. Liability is limited to the value of the product in question.
9) Legal information:
It is mandatory to collect personal information for distance selling purposes. This information is essential when processing the order and creating the invoice.
The processing of this information has been declared to the CNIL (The National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties). The client has the right to access his/her details in order to modify, rectify or delete them. In addition, OrientaleTendance undertakes not to share this information with a third party, for free or in exchange for payment.
10) Exchanges and returns policy:
If for any reason you are not satisfied, you have 14 working days to be counted from the receipt of the package to send the item back. You can request an exchange or a refund without being subject to any penalties, with the exception of the return costs (article 121-20 of the consumer code). However, the right to return items is only applicable when the products are in their original state. Returned items that have been spoiled, damaged, used or soiled by the client will not be accepted.
Furthermore, the products sold on the site can only be refunded in the form of a credit note with an expiry date which will be stated on it.
If there is a shortage of stocks or it is impossible to make a delivery, the client can choose between accepting new delivery times or requesting a refund for the product. OrientaleTendance will then undertake to refund the client or provide him/her with a credit note within a maximum of 30 days.
In accordance with the law, made-to-measure garments cannot be exchanged or refunded.OrientaleTendanceaccepts no liability if the client does not take his/her measurements correctly.
11) How to proceed:
You have 14 days from receipt of the goods to advise OrientaleTendance.com that you wish to return the product to us: In order to make it easier for returned products to be identified, and to facilitate the returns process in general, please identify yourself in the "My account" section, mark the product or products that you wish to return, specify the reason you wish to return them, then validate and print your return voucher.
Without the return voucherthere is a risk that your package will not be accepted by our services and will therefore be returned to you.
Once the return voucher has been generated, the package must be sent to us within a maximum of 12 days. Hereafter, the return of the goods and the refund will be refused.
No refunds are possible without the "Return Voucher".
